Our high strung greyhound mix came to us very fearful of meeting other dogs. Kim provided a loving and stable environment, and due to this, Riley has become much less fearful when meeting other dogs at her house. Riley now has many friends and a second home at Kim’s house. We have no qualms about leaving her for the weekend or when we go on vacation. I think she has a better time on some vacations than we do! We know our dog is in safe hands and well cared for at Big Dog Pet Services, and we never worry about her when she’s in Kim’s care. Thanks, Kim!

I first met Kim a couple of years back when we were in need of a dog sitter for our pup. She had been used to staying in our home while we were away, with dog walkers coming 3 times a day, so we were a little worried she wouldn’t take to the day care. How wrong we were! We had a meet and greet at Kim’s house and our pup Macey immediately took to her and her dog Sadie. She was making herself at home right there and then.

Then, when we returned from our first trip and went to pick Macey up, she was happier and more relaxed than we had ever seen her after we had been away! There was no question in our minds she had had a great time! We have since used Kim’s services on several occasions and we have never had to worry about our sweet baby. You can tell by your pups demeanor if they like someone - and Macey absolutely adores Kim!! To us, Kim’s services are indispensable. I cannot imagine leaving Macey with anyone else. Not only does she (and her husband!) love our dog, she loves all the dogs she takes care of!

Kim and her husband Kelly are fantastic! They run the only organization I will allow to walk my dogs, and my dogs love to board with them. Our travel schedule makes having a resource like Kim an absolute necessity. Our two large dogs, 76 pounds and 86 pounds, are safe and well supervised with Kim. Per our instructions they are never crated, which makes the care of our two hounds all the more demanding. From the time they are on her property our dogs respond to Kim as a loving pack leader and they live with Kim and Kelly as they do at home with us. Extensive backyard time is balanced with house time and they sleep indoors just like they do at home. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The other dogs that may be present are well behaved. Staying with Kim makes the difficulty of seeing us gone much easier for our dogs. They return to us happy, healthy, well exercised and loved. That is the biggest thing — we love our dogs and when they are with Kim and Kelly we know they are treated with love as they are at home. The bottomline is that we trust Kim. She and Kelly are true friends who also care for our two dogs.
