Hey! I’m Kimberly Jones, but you can call me Kim. 10 years ago, my passion for animals led me to start rescuing and rehabilitating abused miniature horses. When I realized that I couldn’t leave my dog at a traditional kennel, I saw an opportunity. I knew I couldn’t be the only person with that problem. So, with the help of my husband Kelly, I founded Big Dog Pet Services.

We offer the San Francisco Bay Area pet sitting, dog boarding, daycare, and scheduled walks. We’ve helped countless pet owners with busy schedules or an upcoming vacation. We welcome pets into our home, look after them at theirs, or help in whatever way we can to make life a little easier for our customers and their people.

Over the years, I’ve learned that children, horses, and dogs have a whole lot in common. If you really listen to them and keep your eyes open, they’ll tell you more about themselves than you would guess. I’ve been called an “animal empath,” and maybe I am, but most of all I just care about all creatures. They seem to know it, too. I listen, watch, and respond, and before long, they trust and love me—because they know I trust and love them. That’s the kind of connection an animal needs in order to really feel at home, and it’s what Big Dog Pet Services is all about.
